Xavier Coron, performing as Cadill’Rock, will be returning to the Midwest on March 19, 2025 for his third consecutive tour in the United States, accompanied by bassist Sebastien Hourson. From St. Nicolas de la Grave, France, Coron teaches and entertains through musical tributes honoring his town’s most famous native son, Detroit founder, Antoine de La Mothe Cadillac.
Cadill’Rock’s musical history lesson celebrates the shared French heritage and contributions made by French explorers in the Great Lakes Region and the Mississippi Valley, including Cadillac, Jean-Baptiste Pointe-du-Sable, founder of Chicago, IL and Henri de Tonty, founder of Peoria, IL. Cadill’Rock’s program has achieved popularity in schools, museums and public events.
Sponsored by Rendez-vous Détroit(501c3), Cadill’Rock will be performing at schools in Michigan and Canada as well as participating once again in Detroit’s annual Nain Rouge Parade on March 23, 2025. With support from the French Heritage Corridor of Chicago, Cadill’Rock will have concerts in Chicago and Peoria. A complete schedule of Cadill’Rock’s performances can be found at rendezvousdetroit.org and on Facebook, Rendez-vous Detroit.
